Using the WebSid emulator, I get the following when playing stuff:

  • The first audio samples of the tune get skipped, so the beginning of the tune sounds "cut off". This happens with every tune that I load.
  • After playing one or two tunes, I get a high-pitched background noise when playing the next one, and it keeps going even if I refresh the page at times.

If I switch the engine to JSIDPlay2 however, the former doesn't happen but in return I get the player playing beyond the tune's specified length (which's already often times quite off from the tune's actual end as well), and the latter also happens.

Then, with the reSID engine, tunes simply won't play at all - it loads them for a split second and then goes to the next one on the list, almost causing a loop to happen (I'm aware it's still in beta, so don't mind much).

I'm currently running DeepSID on Chromium 136.0.7103.92, but this has been going on since long before I got that update.

Thanks for reporting. It's probably something the emulator programmer should have a look at. I'll let him know.
