X Axis Label Fontsize no effect #123

I am trying to change the size of the text labels that appear on the XAxis in the following example code, but it has no effect, ticklabel color and visibility values when set have effect though. What ever size I set them to, they appear at a fixed size and are tiny when the screen is maximised.

         AnchorPane.setBottomAnchor(xAxisBottom, 0
