Hello Jigsy, first of all let me tell you that i appreciate your time spent on this amazing project. We love this mircd. Just downloaded and setup. i will check all commands and revert back with any issues/errors/feedback.

Just a few suggestions if you want to take into consideration at some point.

  1. Account registration/login system and auto hostname based on account. This one until you provide us with the services 😀
  2. What do you think about implementing an Always-on client?(like znc). Registered accounts can opt in/out. When a client disconnects from irc the session will not get destroyed giving the client the option to reattach later on the same session. So basically it works like a znc, the nickname/session remains 24 on irc and the user has the option to reattach at anytime.
    The user can reattched with /server servername port username:password
