Feature description

  • Implement a REST API Endpoint that uses the IP-Address of the user and resolves it to a location (on country level).

Why do we need this feature?

  • When we launch LabHive in multiple countries, the map should be centered to the country where the user currently is.

Implementation thoughts

  • Use a 3rd party services that provides this feature (DSGVO is important here)
  • Find another way to resolve IP-Addresses to location data locally.
