The series

is a bit weird with

https://www.wowhead.com/classic/quest=308/distracting-jarven

https://www.wowhead.com/classic/quest=403/guarded-thunderbrew-barrel

can and should be made unobtainable once

https://www.wowhead.com/classic/quest=311/return-to-marleth is in the log/turned in.

Otherwise it looks like Guarded Thunderbrew Barrel is still available.

Since Guarded Thunderbrew Barrel is only available when Bitter Rivals is in the log, that could be a visibility condition for Guarded Thunderbrew Barrel. That is how Wholly/Grail handles it.
