I have no idea if anyone brought this up before, or how feasible it is, but hear me out.
This is supposed to be a feature request/ suggestion.
My idea is that AD should monitor the originally planned route after departure. If any part of the planned route is blocked, then the driver could alter the path at one of the intersections before the road block. (If there are alternative routes in the network, of course)
This scanning could run while AD is driving between intersections in order to somewhat smoothen out the workload with calculations.
