First of all, thank you for creating Swinject! It has been an excellent dependency injection framework, and I really appreciate the thought and effort that has gone into its design.
However, I noticed that the last commit to the repository was on June 4, 2024, and I am concerned about the library’s maintenance status, especially given that Swift is frequently updated. As new versions of Swift are released, it’s likely that compatibility issues may arise, which could pose challenges for projects relying on Swinject.
I’m currently deciding whether to use Swinject for a new project that requires long-term stability and support. Before making that decision, I’d like to clarify a few points:
1. Is the project still actively maintained?
2. Are there any upcoming updates planned?
For example, is there a roadmap for addressing potential compatibility issues with Swift updates or adding new features?
3. Would the team be open to external contributions or even a new maintainer?
I understand that maintaining an open-source project can be challenging, and I truly appreciate everything you’ve done so far. It would be helpful to understand Swinject’s future direction to make an informed decision.
Thank you for your time and consideration! Looking forward to your response. 😊
Best regards

Note that I asked a similar question here more than 3 months ago and haven't received an answer yet.
So it seems that, despite promises to the contrary, the project has been abandoned and is no longer being maintained after it was taken over by Faire Wholesale. At least that is an obvious conclusion to draw in the absence of any other information.
