yeah, that is a must. the backslash is totally polluting and creating a mess all around in the scripts. just check the a significant portion of it, from the regex, to the syntax, to the logic is ridden with refer this: https://github.com/orgs/PowerShell/discussions/16671 {

on problem of persists, i did following thing: xargs -oI {} scoop cat {} | jq '...'where ... becomes any among: keys_unsorted
{extract_dir, persist, env_add_path, env_set}
{pre_install, post_install, installer, uninstaller}waow, this contraption allows me to interactively enter name of package to show only the pre-specified maps from the manifest. the first query gives the keys in same order as manifest.

and voilla, no need to resolve do the yeah, i guess it removed all those whose symlinks were broken or smth. (ofc the pygments is used by literally every other package lol) i had not stored the while i was at the u may need to check the $ java --version
