הגדרתי לתוכנה להציג את המפרשים בצד הטקסט כברירת מחדל, אבל הם לא מוצגים כך בכל הספרים הפתוחים.

מצאתי נושא פתוח דומה ב-issue #409, אך לא נמצאה שם פתרון בתגובות [1].

לגבי הבעיה שלך, ישנם תנאים בקוד שיכולים למנוע את הצגת המפרשים לצד הטקסט בספרים מסוימים. הצגת המפרשים נשלטת על ידי המאפיינים showSplitView ו-activeCommentators. המפרשים יוצגו רק אם showSplitView הוא true ויש מפרשים פעילים (activeCommentators.isNotEmpty). אם אחד מהתנאים הללו לא מתקיים, המפרשים לא יוצגו לצד הטקסט [2].

בנוסף, ישנה הגדרה ב-lib/settings/settings_screen.dart שמאפשרת לבחור אם להציג את המפרשים לצד הטקסט או מתחתיו כברירת מחדל [3]. ייתכן שהבעיה נובעת מהגדרות אלו או מהתנאים שהוזכרו.
