No. Chimera is compatible with Trial, Retail, and Custom Edition. Regarding the missing signatures, those are all points in Halo's memory Chimera hooks into i.e. functions that are replaced or modified. If Chimera can't find a function's signature (typically because something else already modified it), it can't load one or more critical features/fixes. Just to check, is this a fresh install of Retail? If so, did you update to the latest version of Retail? It should be 1.10 or 1.0.10.621, depending on where you look. |
It is also worth noting that if your executable was modified, it might not work with Chimera. For example, some unofficial distributions of the game are modified slightly in order to work without being properly installed from the CD. |
