Description
beta.mangaki.fr was dead for a while due to very low activity.
It was revived on a STARDUST-1S instance on Scaleway.fr, but they only provide 10GB NVMe disks and we can actually fill it this quite quickly.
A STARDUST-1S cost only ~2-3 € per month, but it is not powerful enough for Beta Mangaki.
A better solution might be to:
- wait that Fosshost.org accept our request to get their resources ;
- or, to buy one IPv4 address on my Online account (2,70 € per month, tax included) and route this IP to my personal datacenter and we can provision a VM on that with generous resources (it cost me nothing except capacity).
For now, I will make the STARDUST-1S instance work for some time.
Also, Beta uses Intel MKL rather than OpenBLAS for improved performance.
Desired features
- Automatic deployment of master on beta.mangaki.fr: we can use
nixops(with GH Action) and open source the machine repository - We have to get straight who can access beta environment
- Provision it with a backup or run services to collect animes & mangas
- Monitor it to see how it breaks, etc.
