I think it would be better that the map widgets (Visitor maps and real-time maps) keep the same zoom level on refresh (using the small icon in the widget header), on page reload or on next visits, as it's done on the other widgets for the chart type selection.

This would be really usefull. Especially for websites with visitors mainly from one country. It is annoying to always first choose the country (wait a few seconds until the widget loads) and then choose the city-display (again waiting a few seconds).

This one most likely won't be worked on before #11929
