AES is used for image encryption/decompression, the signature uses asymmetric keys. AES-128 is supported, AES-256 is also supported. CRC is not supported, the upgrade system is based around sha256 (or sha512) |

what if we only want to support the MAC protection. No encryption ? MCUBoot does not allows that I guess> |
