Problem you'd like to fix

I am currently in a class that doesn't allow use of graphing calculators.

Describe the solution you'd like

Would it be possible to add a way to disable graphing for classes that don't allow graphing calculators? Preferably add something along the lines of a scientific mode (just disable graphing)

I would like to second this option and add that it would be good to have this as an exam mode.

The reason I am saying this is that I am currently teaching the Cambridge IGCSE 0607 international mathematics syllabus, where we need a graphing calculator. However, on the other IGCSE exams (for example science), graphing calculator is prohibited. Practically this means that students (or the school) need to buy two calculators, one for the mathematics course (and exam) and another one for the rest. If numworks would have an option for scientific calculator mode, then it would be helpful for us.

To add, here is the list of prohibited options on the Cambridge IGCSE exams (other than the 0607 International Mathematics) copied from their website

graphic display
data banks
dictionaries or language translators
retrieval or manipulation of text or formulae
QWERTY keyboards
built-in symbolic algebraic manipulations
symbolic differentiation or integration
capability of remote communication with other machines.

Need is completely understood but creating a scientific mode would take quite some time. Since it is not one of our top priority, I keep this issue opened but won't tackle it for now. Feel free to comment if this needs further attention!
