What happened:
When there are more than 2 first-level sections (single #), the next one would get recognized as a child of the last section.
What you expected to happen:
A first-level header not shown as a child of another first-level header.
How to reproduce it (as minimally and precisely as possible):

Here's an example if I'm not clear enough, the red ones only have one #:
