This is a suggestion to move the loading of the terrain and surface textures from the post-loading screen process to during the actual loading screen process where they actually belong IMO. Current process just doesn't look right with everything but the terrain and surface textures having been fully loaded.

It could be tricky to alter the loading process and this is only a problem when starting simulation with a landed vessel. I have tried this couple of times in the past with no success. But now that the Orbiter sources are available it might be doable.
