Elementor 3.29 introduces foundational changes that 3rd-party developers should be aware of — from the upcoming Editor V4 infrastructure to Cloud Templates compatibility and accessibility improvements.
📚 Here’s what’s new:
🧪 Editor V4 Alpha is here — but not extensible yet.
Editor V4 Alpha introduces a CSS-first approach and modular layout system.
However, APIs for extending it are not ready, and may change in upcoming versions.
No developer action is needed at this stage.
📌 We will let you know when we are ready!
☁️ Cloud Templates use JSON file formats — 3rd-party widgets supported.
Templates are saved as JSON files, preserving structure and ensuring compatibility with third-party widgets.

♿ Accessibility improvements
Elementor 3.29 includes updates to semantic structure and labeling.
