Notification popups are distracting when trying to edit code. It would be nice if there was an option to only show a small red indicator in the status bar with a count ,of pending notifications. Clicking on the indicator would bring up the big notifications.

See the error-status package for an example of this behavior.

Hi all,

I'm new to gh and not sure how to report my issue as an add-on to this one, but if you're working on a half-size screen and get add-on errors, they can prevent you from doing work.

Seconding the request to show notifications with a dropdown-able indicator vs. popups.

Why doesn't @postcasio's original error-status exist as an installable package any more? The link below is dead now...

Could it be revived for the newer versions of Atom (if that is the problem)?
