Most Dark Mode Designers seem to agree that white body text is not best in terms of visual appear and readabilty. It helps distinguish body text from other visual items such as title and section titles/headers.

eg turn this

chrome_Ii5ArEoilu

into this

chrome_lFqEen6DhK

hex color is #d4d0c2 in the above example for the Body Text color.
