Build a custom version of QEMU with Intel TDX support using the tdx-qemu-upstream-v9 branch.

Requirements

  • Clone Intel's QEMU fork: https://github.com/intel/qemu.git
  • Checkout branch: tdx-qemu-upstream-v9
  • Build with support for confidential-guest-support=tdx and tdx-guest object

Tasks

  • Confirm build dependencies
  • Build and validate QEMU binary
  • Install to system path or custom path for Kata/VM usage
