Hello!

Do you have any plans to support Psycopg 3 (with Django 4.2+) in future?

Support for Psycopg3 is critically important. Would you like to help make that happen?

Psycopg3 is not supported in SQLAlchemy<2. SQLAlchemy 2+ breaks a lot of our code, and I haven't figured out a way to get past it yet.

From my prior testing, it seems that the model translations still work under SQLAlchemy 2, and I don't expect any issues specific to psycopg. Unfortunately, I don't think that many people (if any at all) that are using only the model translation layer. If anyone is using the translation layer, but not attempting to use aldjemy's session sharing, I'd really like to know that.

Anyway, all that to say that this will require very little changes from this library (#313 demonstrates those changes well), but it's blocked until we can land on some solution for #296.
