Description
Currently using valve index controllers to interact with the 3d space is a massive pain:
- To use the analog sticks you need to press them down, which makes navigation troublesome
- Since grabbing is done by actually closing your hand, this is my default position when pressing buttons, often accidentally switching between primary and secondary actions
- The floating menu is "slippery", it tends to run away when I look at it. Made worse by accidentally grabbing it due to the nature of the index controllers
Working with a mouse is super pleasant, it would be nice to have a control scheme that works with the index controllers painlessly out of the box, without accidentally triggering different actions when closing your hand.
