Issue

Screen flickers abnormally (light/dark) when using both dpad and the firing button and playing as the racoon character.

How to reproduce

  1. Start a game in single player mode
  2. Select the racoon character
  3. Just press Y in rapid succession: character shoots bullets: all good ✅!
  4. Move around with the dpad without firing: character moves around: all good ✅!
  5. While maintaining any direction pressed on the dpad (up/down/left/right), fire in quick succession: screen flickers light/dark: not good ❌😞

The issue does not occur when the game is played as the girl character. It only occurs when playing as the racoon character.

Issue reproduced on:

  • Super NT stock firmware 5.2
    • Loaded from SD2SNES cart
  • Super NT JB firmware 7.2
    • Loaded from SD2SNES cart
    • Loaded from SD card

The issue does NOT occur on a real Super Famicom (loaded from the same SD2SNES)
