I'm working on porting entity_translation to Backdrop and am running into this error.

Error: Call to undefined function entity_ui_clone_entity() in field_collection_entity_translation_source_field_state_alter() (line 1438 of /var/www/backdrop.local/site/web/modules/contrib/field_collection/field_collection.module).
