Feature Description

I dont have access to create iam roles

The security department can do this but they require doing it in terraform.

Is there a way to define an iam role in the config that has already been created so users do not need iam perms to use basti

Hi @nitrocode, nice to see you again!

Unfortunately, there's no way to provide an existing IAM role for the bastion instance in the basti init command as of today.

However, this could be easily added as another advanced input option (source). I can't promise to implement this feature soon but PRs are very welcome!
