Hi! brokenaxes seems amazing. I think I may have run into one corner-case which causes it to glitch a little bit.
I was following along this GridSpec tutorial and was curious to see what would happen if I subbed in some brokenaxes instances for normal subplots. When I called plt.figure(constrained_layout=True), I noticed that the "//" symbols end up floating in the wrong place.

I wouldn't blame you if you flagged this as WONTFIX but I figured I'd pass along the issue just in case.
