Datacore Bug Report: Duplicate Tab Opening on Ctrl+Click

Description

When Ctrl+clicking a link generated by Datacore (using $link in tables/views), the behavior differs from standard Obsidian links:

Expected Behavior (Standard Obsidian Links)

  • Ctrl+click opens the linked file in a new tab
  • Current tab remains unchanged

Actual Behavior (Datacore Links)

  • Ctrl+click opens the linked file in a new tab
  • AND ALSO changes the current tab to the linked file
  • Results in the same file being opened twice

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create a new Obsidian vault
  2. Install BRAT plugin
  3. Use BRAT to install Datacore (https://github.com/blacksmithgu/datacore)
  4. Create a new markdown file with this basic Datacore table view:
