- we reduce the lock in of specific vendors
- it easier for new contributors to experiment independently
- we reduce the number of DSLs required to build the project
- it's easier to trace events within the CI pipeline.
Now:
- chained shell commands, Dockerfiles and credentials
Next:
- isolated creds and scheduling from build logic
- debugging and refactoring using familiar APIs and toolchains
- CI against https://github.com/tahoe-lafs/tahoe-lafs/tree/master to validate against
