Being able to query on timestamps

This is a followup to the following closed issue that was never revisited: #381

Ultimately, I want to be able to filter results in Gizmo based on the creation time of the quads. From what I have seen the quads are written in with a timestamp. We just have to make it accessible in the API.

Is there currently anyone actively working on this? I would love to talk about it and see if there is anything I can do to contribute to it.
