During the recent Prague GIGA event I had trouble managing caches stored in lists on c:geo.
I stored all caches in the area of Prague - old town and near the giga coordinates in a list on c:geo.
Then I tried to filter caches displayed in the list using advanced filtering with the following criteria:

  • cache type: events and speciale events
  • source: geocaching.com
  • status: available, disabled, NOT archived
  • event date, relative to today, both sliders on 0d
    IMO this should have shown me all events happening today.

This took place on May 3rd. c:geo showed results for May 4th.

Same applies when filtering for hidden date with absolute date for "normal" caches:

  1. note down the hidden date of any cache
  2. show this cache in map
  3. set a filter for the absolute hidden date of this cache --> the cache will disappear from the map
  4. change the filter to the day before the cache's hidden date --> the cache will be displayed again

Seems to prove that the filter for hidden date (which is most probably the same as the event date) is one day off ...
