Kind of a follow-up to #13844, which added functionality to replace x with *.
Someone requested to also replace – (em dash) with - (minus).

What solution would you suggest?
We could also think about adding a list of common replacements / substitutions and either apply all on request or maybe offer a multiple choice selection.
