We can shelter from the Cloudflare outage here! A similar discussion has been had around general error messages as well on the same lines: #79 I'd imagine something like this is extremely rare given Cloudflare workers are not doing great right now, and possibly can't even route any apps to their deployed code to serve anything other than the Craft Cloud error page. |

I figured the same thing but perhaps there could be a mechanism for Craft to override it during known outages or similar. Hope yours recovers well! |

It's a fair point, certainly agree. I'm guessing to a degree but because of the routing/worker issues, the page being served is likely a fallback when "no app code" or similar has occurred, which would be very unlikely given you'd have at least one deployment unless.... Cloudflare Workers have gone on holiday for a bit and can no longer route to your app, then it's a bad time. Certainly highlights an edge case. We love those. You too. I'm getting many pings of various services we use outside our website which also use Cloudflare, Imgix, Dotdigital we are all failing together! |

This is a tricky one, as I believe the KV was simply returning as though the record didn't exist (not that there was an error of any kind). I'll do some further investigation and see if there was any other indication we could have detected. Additionally, I think valid options could be

Posting this whilst it’s fresh, not to kick when down but because it’s the first time I’ve seen the message.
During the current Cloudflare outage the Craft message may imply that the business or site is not around anymore which could may do reputational harm. It might be nicer if the message was more along the lines of there’s an outage or similar.
