steps to reproduce:
- set device A in obs settings as audio monitor device (any except cable input)
- create source that produces audio
- add filter "Audio Monitor" on it, route it to completely different device (like cable input)
- open any software that also can capture windows with audio (like discord, streamlabs or another obs instance (streamlabs/obs will be easier to test in solo, cuz with discord you need to have someone to tell you if they hear audio or not, if you're gonna stream window projector as screen sharing window)
- in obs (original) enable window projector, in streamlabs capture this window projector with audio.
- toggle filter on and off to see that volume on streamlabs
obs window projector
source being enabled/disabled (while it shouldn't be, as it routes audio to cable-input, and not device A. Cuz to route audio to device A, this source should have "monitor and output" enabled in audio advanced properties)
So, basically, it appears, in the end of the audio routing, any audio data that is being used by custom audio monitor is being sent back to original obs audio monitor, which isn't what supposed to happen!
