Describe the bug

It's not possible to create a new build target for a Makefile project.

To Reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. File -> New -> C/C++ Project -> Makefile Project -> Next
  2. Give the project a name and select "Create Hello World Source and Makefile example"
  3. Click Finish
  4. The following menu entry is disabled: Project -> Build Targets -> Create

Version Information (please complete the following information):

  • OS and OS Version/extra details: Kubuntu 24.04
  • Eclipse Version from Help -> About: 2025-06 (4.36.0)
  • CDT Version from Help -> About -> Installation Details -> Features tab: 12.1.0.225052
