Background
GitHub offers the possibility to show sponsoring information on repositories. This can be done via predefined providers or with custom links. An example of this can be seen in the oidcc project. (Sponsor Button at the top / Detail Information in the sidebar)
It would be good to raise the visibility of joining / sponsoring the EEF in all our repositories. This can also be added globally to all projects in the organisation.
Tasks
The following tasks must be completed to resolve this issue.
- Create
.githubrepository in the EEF organisation - Add
FUNDING.yml - Remove
FUNDING.ymlfrom all other repositories - Enable Sponsoring in each projects overview settings page
