I'm working on testing Windows Subsystem for Linux GUI on Windows Insider Preview 11 Home.
I'm currently using korean(that's my local language), so I searched and installed fcitx to manage it.
However, it says:

** (fcitx-config-gtk3:9586): WARNING **: 23:42:22.556: GDBus.Error:org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.ServiceUnknown: The name org.fcitx.Fcitx-0 was not provided by any .service files

(fcitx-config-gtk3:9586): Gtk-WARNING **: 23:42:22.594: Error loading theme icon 'help-about' for stock: Icon 'help-about' not present in theme Yaru

** (fcitx-config-gtk3:9586): WARNING **: 23:42:22.616: GDBus.Error:org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.NameHasNoOwner: Name "org.fcitx.Fcitx-0" does not exist

and shows nothing on input method config.

It runs on Windows at the first place :D

  • And it showed another error lines here:

How can I manage this exception?

Add: My system is currently:

  • Operating System: Windows 11 Home Dev(10.0.22000.184)
  • CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-9400
  • RAM: 12GB(Slot 1 at 4GB, Slot 2 at 8GB, No slot for Slot 3~16)
  • SDA: SAMSUNG MZNLN256HAJQ-000 WSL is installed here
  • SDB: TOSHIBA DT01ACA100
  • SDC: WDC WD10EZEX-00BN5A0
  • Internet Connection: Realtek PCIe GbE Family Controller - 1Gbps Ethernet
  • GPU: 0 as Intel(R) UHD Graphics 630, 1 as NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650

you should new issue in there https://github.com/MicrosoftDocs/WSL
dbus Service not exist .
fcitx cant do anything.
