Existing alphabet support lex sorting. However, usage of "." is not friendly for some systems:

  • Some systems does not support naming with "."
  • Some systems (e.g. S3) consider "." as file extension separator and applies sorting differently.

It would be nice to have alphabet where "." can be replaced to "-" or "*"
