Can the Dock icon be hidden in macOS and keep only the Menubar icon?

PS: with this command is possible /usr/libexec/PlistBuddy -c "Add :LSUIElement bool true" "/Applications/clipshare.app/Contents/Info.plist"

But I would like to know if it is a "standard" way.

The command above makes the Camera stop working.
Opening a dialog with "Camera permission is required to use this feature." - even if it is already enabled.
