This behavior is pretty odd.

Reproduction case:

  • Have two Series in your dashboard with at least 3 books in each
  • Select one non-current edition title from the first series
  • In the second series, hover over "add selected to group"

The UI will say:

but the link is still clickable.

What happens next seems indeterminate:

If I move from the first series to the second series, it seems to work as expected.

If I move from the second series to the first series, all non-current titles move with it (similar to #1696) but on refresh, the series look correct, with only the moved title in its new location.

However, the UI suggests this should not be possible at all.
