This issue is part of Epic 1A: Launch docs beta and Epic 2C: Docs beta usability testing.

Evaluate the overall UX of the mechanism (GitHub/VuePress workflow) for creating and modifying content that appears on beta docs site, and refine as needed.

Update: Nothing unexpected encountered in the initial migration. Front matter is easy to work with, and nothing weird happened when flat-out copy/paste-ing markdown from legacy site.

Calling this issue done -- we've not encountered any issues in content creation so far, and can open individual issues should anything crop up later.
