Description
GitHub already counts git clones (one of the Traffic graphs, accessible by contributors only) and the number of release asset downloads (via GitHub API v3, see e.g. Somsubhra/github-release-stats), but doesn't count the number of source code archive downloads (e.g. the "Download ZIP" button or source code of releases). GitHub should count these downloads and make them accessible either with a new Traffic graph or via the API.
