Visualising them would typically be the functionality I'm looking for. Grafana has a functionality called "Traces to profiles", shown on https://grafana.com/docs/grafana-cloud/connect-externally-hosted/data-sources/pyroscope/#visualize-traces-and-profiles-data-using-traces-to-profiles. |

FYI, there was some effort in the past to add the ability to visualise profiling data in Jaeger. |

Hello,
I've looked at the roadmap but I couldn't find a mention of the following feature: supporting OTel profiling data.
Somebody asked on open-telemetry/opentelemetry-collector-contrib#36449 which OTel backends currently support this new type of signal, and tested against Jaeger.
But it's apparently not supported: is there a plan to do so? If not, is there a way to help?
