Dots showing possible moves don't disappear

I clicked on my king because I was considering a move. Dots showed up in the neighboring squares showing legal moves. Then I decided to drop a pawn instead. The dots remained in the squares around my king. Then my opponent moved and I moved a different piece, and still the dots remained in the squares surrounding the king. I made them disappear by click on the king.
