I did this

  1. Enable High Contrast accessibility mode on Windows
  2. Go to Kanidm login page

I expected the following

Toggle switch state is discernable

This happened instead

Toggle switch state has really bad contrast, or is completely white-on-white depending on state

Kanidm version details

  • Output of kanidm(d) version: 1.5.0
  • Are you running it in a container? If so, which image/tag?: no
  • If not a container, how'd you install it: NixOS module
  • Operating System / Version (On Unix please post the output of uname -a): NixOS 25.05. Linux vineta 6.12.30 Support labelling system protected objects #1-NixOS SMP PREEMPT_DYNAMIC Thu May 22 12:29:54 UTC 2025 x86_64 GNU/Linux

Any other comments

In High Contrast mode (or forced colors mode in general), parts of the website CSS is overridden with user-provided color values. The website should adjust its style accordingly. See https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/CSS/@media/forced-colors.
