Cyrillic letters in the filename

First off, thanks a lot for the package! Default org-latex-preview is way too slow because of the stupid way it's done, and this works blazing fast.

The issue I'm having is this. If an org file has cyrillic letters in its name, org auctex refuses to compile it.

The file itself can have as much cyrillic letters as you want and it compiles nicely, even if I use them inside formulas, but not when it comes to filename.
