Status of this project

It has been two years since this repository was last updated, and this issue is the first since 3 years ago.

Considering the project is abandoned, I would like to maintain and merge it into my WIP game engine, MoCKoGE (on a separate module, of course - this library won't depend on the game engine itself).

May I please get some info about how this project works?
