Hello!
I encountered a memory shortage issue while using miniprot, but I checked that my available running memory on the server is 925G. My reference protein file size is 1.9G, but there are 4894429 entries.
The command I am using is
miniprot - t50-- gff hap1. mpi/ protein_dir/ref50v.fa > ref50v.gff3
Error occurred
[M::worker_pipeline::14471.449*36.87] mapped 7379 sequences [M::worker_pipeline::14492.793*36.88] mapped 6051 sequences [M::worker_pipeline::14511.779*36.88] mapped 6961 sequences [M::worker_pipeline::14540.144*36.88] mapped 6350 sequences [M::worker_pipeline::14584.366*36.89] mapped 5456 sequences [M::worker_pipeline::14608.433*36.90] mapped 6653 sequences [M::worker_pipeline::14632.797*36.91] mapped 7329 sequences [M::worker_pipeline::14695.161*36.87] mapped 7515 sequences [morecore] insufficient memory align50.sh: 行 1: 15443 已放弃 miniprot -t50 --gff hap1.mpi ../protein_dir/ref50v.fa > ref50v.gff3
May I ask if it is a problem with the settings of Minisrot itself? Can we increase its running memory?
I would greatly appreciate it if I could receive your reply as soon as possible.

Yeah, probably due to insufficient memory.
