Not able to navigate system on android 11

I am attempting to setup scummvm but when you got configure the theme and extra folders you are unable to navigate the file system. If possible is there anyway to have it to default to the path retroarch uses as it's system folder? I am unable to find a conf file to edit like the retroarch conf so I can edit it manually so as of right now there is no real way to setup the core.
