Bug description

When I manually suspend the system (either via the GUI or the systemctl suspend command), or when I log out and the login screen appears again, the keyboard does not respond.
I am unable to type my password, and the only solution is to power off the computer completely.
However, if the system enters suspend automatically (due to inactivity), the keyboard works fine on resume and I can log in normally.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Suspend the system manually using the menu or systemctl suspend
  2. Wait for the login screen to appear after resume
  3. Try typing your password

Expected behavior

The keyboard should work at the login screen after a manual suspend or logout, just like it does after an automatic suspend.

Additional information

Mouse works, only keyboard is affected

I have USB keyboard but it also happens with the laptop keyboard
