Essex is using Views Bulk Operations https://www.drupal.org/project/views_bulk_operations to allow editors to select content from the /admin/content view and either bulk publish or archive it

See it in action

We should explore adding this to LGD core, and also see if the UX can be streamlined:

  • field and button labels in the VBO panel at the foot of the view
  • the 'extra step' required to change workflow states (is this only needed when Workflow is installed?)

It would be good to know what Essex mostly use this for (eg publishing guide overviews and their children, whole sections or something else)
